The Fall

Sherwood Park Edmonton

A moment of silence,
The wind rushes through the leaves above
The birds sing to a familiar tune

The sun creeps through a lonely cloud
And the lake gleams,
Full of ripples.

The magpie soars
And the geese beckon
Here we embrace the Fall

The trees lighten
The paths fill
The hares begin to whiten

Auburn,orange and fair green
Clusters of red berries
To the birds delight

A season of change
Cinnamon and pumpkin spice
Here we embrace The Fall.
